Location: Aldeburgh, Suffolk, UK
A walk from Aldeburgh to Southwold, taking in the best of the Suffolk Coast. We start in Aldeburgh, and take in the Britten memorial on the beach, Thorpeness itself and stop for coffee on Sizewell beach. We make a detour around the RSPB reserve at Minsmere and have a fish-and-chip lunch in Dunwich's famous Flora Tearooms, before heading off to Walberswick, where we linger on the beach before taking the foot ferry to Southwold harbour and drinking a well-earned pint of Adnams ale opposite the brewery at the Sole Bay Inn.
