Location: Grootdrink, South Africa
Starting early to see the farms begin the daily tasks along the Orange River. The area is unique in the type of irrigation farming. By nine the sun is making itself felt and we see how it is used to make raisins. We head for a swimming pool to cool off over midday and enjoy a light lunch. Afterwards we visit the local wine cellar to taste some award winning wines and buy wines direct from the cellars. We end the experience by inviting the guest home to a traditional "Braai" (barbeque) and watch the stars appear.
