Location: India
As a longstanding author to the Rough Guide to India (and South India), whose total time spent on the subcontinent exceeds four years, I know plenty about the wonders and potential pitfalls of travelling in this magical country. So whether you want to know about when to go to various parts of the country, what to take, food and health issues, transportation, cultural and religious background or specific itineraries, including favourite accommodations and restaurants, I am happy to provide whatever advice you need.
Extra information:If you live in the London area, I am happy to meet and provide the trip planning in person. Likewise, if we happen to coincide in the same part of India, it would be a pleasure to see you there.
Further trip planning details:I entered three weeks in the trip-planning field above as it's the minimum realistic time required to get a good feel of the country. However, I can offer advice and itineraries on shorter or longer trips as required. The fee will remain the same and will buy two and a half hours of my time, preferably by Skype. It's up to you how you want to divide that time between general advice, specific areas of interest or concern, and itineraries at various levels of detail.
