 Hello! I am 23 years old and live in Tenerife now, which is where my Mum’s family come from and live. The family has always worked in agriculture, so one of the things that I do is manage the family farms, which include avocado, banana and mango trees. However, agriculture is a labour intensive business and also water is expensive, so you need to supplement it with another income. Rural tourism is the alternative. Using my design background (I studied product design at Central School of Art in London), I am putting together and managing two rural properties, formerly my grandparents’ residences, which have been restored for this purpose.
My interests are photography, music, swimming, architecture and design. Besides these, travelling is something I really love and my best memory is being shown around Romania by local Romanians when I was 14. Having these local guides made it a really authentic experience; I was able to truly appreciate how special the country is, and this is still one of my best travel memories.
I would like to do the same for people who come to Tenerife, providing local information so that tourists can enjoy the island’s hidden gems which people rarely get to see, from the Black volcanic beaches in the North, to the February carnival in Santa Cruz.
