About Me
Hi, I am Puneet, a herbalist and a merchant-trader of herbs, spa supplies and essential oils. I am also a Rotarian, and love to help people wherever and whenever I can. In my leisure time, I love to watch movies and travel to places.
Planning travel for people is one of my hobbies. Married to Neha, we have travelled to many places within India and abroad. Travelling in India is best when it is planned bespoke to your needs. My last trip has been Kerala, where we chose to stay in a private villa on the banks of Lake Vembanad. This villa, quite affordable, had not been known to many, and offered world-class facilities coupled with a “heritage/homely” feel to it. I guess, the best things in India, are custom made, yet-affordable.
India has 23 states and hence, there lies a vast cultural and regional diversity. REcently, alternative tourism has gronw: Medical Tourism, Eco-Tourism, Village Tourism and Golf-tourism. We also see people interested in bird tours, or philanthropic tours involving helping the underprivileged. Some people who visit India are fascinated by the grandeur, luxury and hospitality of the forts and palaces here, which have been converted into hotels.
Since India is still evolving and developing, there are some safety issues, and educating yourself is very important, so that you do not fall into these tourist-traps. That is why, I would like to help you uncover the best that India has to offer.
