I was born in the UK, but spent most of my childhood in Australia. I do love Oz, but since university I have really enjoyed having the freedom to spend an extended period of time on this side of the world.
I live in North London, which I love because of the great food, bars and green spaces. From my local station, I can get a train straight to Cambridge, where I was born, so I am always close to one of my homes.
At university I studied Theatre and Geography. When I tell people that they say "what a strange mix". I think that neatly sums up my interests; I love travelling, food, theatre, comedy, music, art, walking, singing, learning Spanish and reading. Travel and food are my 2 great passions and living in London I am well placed to indulge in them.
When I finished school and university I spent a lot of time travelling, which I supported by working in bars and restaurants. I lived in Spain for 3 months when I was 17 and then again in 2008, but I have always been drawn back to England. Now that I've settled in London, I have decided to work in a more rewarding position - for the International division at the British Red Cross - but I still spend a lot of time trying out new restaurants, exploring new parts of my city and, if I get itchy feet, a weekend in Europe has never been easier!
